Motorstorm Apocalypse is really spectacular to watch. The vehicles are all well detailed and destructible, the tracks are really full of objects and various structures, there are people who try to hit you with molotov, burned vehicles that blocks the road, buildings and bridges that collapse  and much more without any slowdown,even in split screen.

Entertainment: 10

In Motorstorm Apocalypse will return the festival mode, this time enhanced by cut scenes and divided into three parts representing the three levels of difficulty. The drive system is always fun and simple, the core of it is definitely the turbo that is activated with the X button (do not use too much or you blow up) and the ability to ram your opponents (maybe with heavy vehicles) with L1 or R1 and it is amazing how these two simple features make the game fun and exciting. Each race will be different from the previous one but always captivating with vehicles that will do battle at every turn!

Multiplayer: 10
Motorstorm is the festival of the multiplayer! You can play up to 4 players in split screen and up to 16 via online and it is useless to tell you how much fun and exciting!


Vehicles: 10
The vehicles are divided into 13 classes (5 in more than Pacific Rift) and I have to admit that they are all very different to drive and each has its own strengths and flaws. Each class will have three different models and each of them will be aesthetically customized with stickers, paints, and also with interchangeable parts such as hoods, spoilers,wheels and much more.


For how long?: 9
The festival mode will last a few days but then the multiplayer will keep you busy for many hours, thanks to the fun and adrenaline of every race.


Innovation: 6
Certainly the apocalyptic setting is new to the series but certainly not for racing games.Compared to MotorStorm Pacific Rift there were many minor improvements but nothing of real innovative.

A must buy for all those who love the series and racing games but also for all those who want to have fun without too many frills together with friends, be they online or sitting next to you.
