Dynasty Warriors finally flexes its muscles and makes in the best possible way. The characters are really wonderful, their clothes are colorful and very detailed not to mention the faces, in short, a big step forward compared to Dynasty Warriors 6. Even the battlefields have been substantially improved and now appear much more detailed and full of buildings, vegetation and small details that serve to give more atmosphere, this improvement is especially noticeable in the recycling maps from Dynasty Warriors 6, in fact often you will fatigue to recognize them.

Story Mode: 9

This time, unlike Dynasty Warriors 6, the story will be divided for kingdom and not for character, so you can choose to play the story of Shu, Wu, Wei and Jin (the New Kingdom). In doing so, the story mode will be without that unpleasant sensation of déjà vu (a feeling present in the past Dynasty Warriors), and will avoid you to revise many of the same cut-scenes and battles over and over. Another feature of this new mode of play is the much care put into the narrative and in the cut-scenes, as well as the almost perfect relevance to the real history and so finally we will no longer use Liu Bei at Wu Zhang or Sun Ce at Chi Bi etcetera! The only flaw of this mode is the inability to select the character before the battle, and then you'll use the default character for that battle; At the end was enough to add the free mode and split screen to make it perfect, but not desperate, to save the longevity and the multiplayer of Dynasty Warriors 7 will take care the Conquest Mode...

The Conquest mode is a mode of play very extensive, which includes many elements of Extreme Mode and Free Mode and mix them together adding a bit of RPG. Just entered the Conquest Mode, you will find yourself in front of a huge map of China divided into 215 hexagons waiting to be explored. Almost each hexagon represents a battle and between the many types of battle there are the defensive battles, battles in which you must defeat the Yellow Turbans,rescue battles, battles to win the Ultimate Weapon and many more not forgetting the important Legend battles. These battles will allow you to live the legends of all 62 characters through 2 or 3 battles each. In addition to that the Conquest Mode "hides" many touches of class such as the possibility to make a quiz about the history of the Three Kingdoms, which will introduce background really curious. Fortunately, the Conquest Mode is playable with a friend both offline and online and has an excellent replay value.


Entertainment: 10
The gameplay leaves the Renbu system of Dynasty Warriors 6 and returns to the traditional charge system of the past Dynasty Warriors. By doing this you go back and play with some variety and strategy, abandoning the distressing monotony that accompanied us during Dynasty Warriors 6. The action is very smooth (much more than Dynasty Warriors 5) and playing Dynasty Warriors 7 is damn fun and rewarding. As for the difficulty I must say that at chaos the game is really hard but thanks to the various seals that you can equipped in the weapons, may become more abordar but in any case be careful to archers because they are very lethal, Dynasty Warriors 3 docet. The characters are all very fun to use, and all quite different thanks mainly to the two musou attack that each character has, certainly a huge step forward compared to DynastyWarriors 6: The Clone Wars eh eh eh!

Finally it's arrived the true Dynasty Warriors for the next-generation and I think it is wonderful and it is also the spiritual successor of Dynasty Warriors 3. Buy it guys!
