Killzone 3 is really amazing to watch, with great play of light that give at the Guerrilla's game a very special look and feel. Crazy explosions, breathtaking views and sometimes dazzling colors make Killzone 3 one of the most beautiful games of this generation. Pity for the slight aliasing and a bit of pop-in that deny the 10 in graphics.
Entertainment: 10
Whether you play single player or multiplayer Killzone 3 is really fun. The Weapons has a perfect control system, giving a sense of absolute mastery over them. In Killzone 3 you have fun just firing against a wall, trust me. The single player is very various and entertaining, with moments of quiet and moments where the chaos is absurd and funny.Very immersive.
Multiplayer: 9
The multiplayer is the highlight of Killzone 3. With three different modes, five classes (all with different weapons and skills) and a dozen maps (plus those thatwill come out) Killzone 3 will make you forget all the other games and maybe even something else. Unexplained lack of splitscreen in this mode since it is present in the coop.
Innovation: 6
In Killzone 3 there is no much of innovative things. The plot although is more complex and narrated better than Killzone 2, still lacks in depth and maturity and thematic are always the same mere and raw revenge. It would take a bit of innovation, especially on the plot.
For how long?: 9
The single player takes approximately 7 / 8 hours to complete it but the multiplayer is practically endless and thanks to the excellent gameplay of this title will keep us stuck for a very long time.
Classes: 9
The classes (Engineer,Tactician,Infiltrator,Field Medic and Marksman) are very well done and well differentiated, although I do love the sniper rifle I admit that it was difficult to choose the class. Same thing applies to the system ofcharacter growth. Very well studied.
Overall: 8.7
Definitely a great FPS, very fun and playable but I think still missing something. An epic storyline for example!
