Bulletstorm review in numbers

Unreal engine rocks! Instead of getting old, this engine continuously improve its performances. In Bulletstorm the environments are really amazing with games of light used in a masterly way. Everything is really good and fast (without frame rate issue) and often left open-mouthed.


Entertainment: 10
Is really funny and frenetic gameplay with a really deep, pushing to use the few weapons available to destroy enemies in different ways and always imaginative. One of the most fun games around here!


Multiplayer : 6
Unfortunately, the multiplayer does not offer much and it is only online.In Anarchy mode (similar to the hordes of Gears of War 2)we will face waves of enemies in the company of three other companions,funny but only for a few days. It feels the lack of co-ops but also the lack of a competitive mode that Bulletstorm (in my opinion) deserved.


For how long?: 6
Once you beat the single player (8 hours approximately) you may replay it to get a better score or you may give ourselves to the multiplayer but, as I mentioned before, you don't keep you busy for a long time.What a pity!


Innovation: 9
Recently, the FPS is just too much resemble each other but Bulletstorm attempts to differentiate itself from the crowd and succeeds.First of all skill shot is hilarious, and various (over 100). Killing with style (but also with skill) has never been so fun and rewarding. Try to make combos with weapons will become your priority. The single player is immersive and original with huge boss, rare to see in a FPS but it is all in Bulletstorm, to seem fresh and fun.


Weapons: 9
Weapons are only 8 (including the whip) but they are all very different from each otherand have a secondary fire mode. Needless to say, they are also very original and exotic.


Overall: 8.2
Bulletstorm is a unique and unusual FPS but flaw in contents. With a little more courage by Epic and People Can Fly it could become the FPS of the year.
